About The Opportunity
  • You will be responsible for leading the development and execution of our Employment Relations strategy, fostering a collaborative and positive ER environment.
  • Provide expert advice and strategic guidance on industrial relations to support leadership throughout the organisation.

The successful candidate will assist the Executive Manager People and Culture to:

  • Champion a constructive and inclusive employment relations culture throughout the organisation
  • Drive the development and implementation of an Employment Relations Strategy
  • Lead the ongoing development and negotiation of the Enterprise Agreement
  • Effectively resolve industrial disputes and address emerging employment matters
  • Advise and support senior leaders and the People and Culture team on employment relations issues
  • Develop and enhance organisational policies and procedures to ensure compliance and best practice.

Essential Qualifications and Experience: Relevant university degree in Human Resources, Employee Relations, Law or deemed equivalent, in-depth practical experience in all relevant areas of the role, strong understanding of Australian workplace laws as applicable.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience: Accreditation and/or experience in alternative dispute resolution methods and techniques, experience in organisations that are unionised and have a workforce dispersed over multiple sites, demonstrated project management and facilitation skills.
