Humanities Educator Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging Humanities programs for students across various stages, reflecting the Christian ethos of our institution.
  • Manage curriculum requirements, including programs, registers, assessment, feedback, and reporting, to ensure high standards of student outcomes.
  • Provide effective pastoral care to students through leading a regular House Tutor group and supporting co-curricular activities.
Requirements
  • A committed Christian who is active in the life of a Reformed Evangelical Church.
  • Supports the institution's vision of holistic Christian education.
  • Conducts themselves in a manner in keeping with the institution's ethos and Code of Conduct at all times, modeling Christian maturity to the institution's community.
  • Has exceptional communication and relational teaching skills.
Employment Details
  • Reports directly to the Head of Humanities, Deputy Principal Senior School, and Principal.
  • Normal teaching load is approximately 47 fifty-minute periods per fortnightly cycle, including Sport, plus House Tutor and other duties.
  • The salary will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
