Analytics Manager

This role is responsible for analyzing user data to derive valuable insights, collaborating with various departments to develop strategies that enhance user experiences and keep users engaged with the platform over the long term.

The primary focus of this position is to uncover behavioral insights through cohort analysis and A/B testing, identify high-impact segments to inform lifecycle and retention strategies, track churn signals and optimize for customer lifetime value, recommend targeted actions to drive engagement and reduce loss, support campaign planning and translate business needs into testable hypotheses, A/B experiments, and actionable insights, evaluate campaign and product performance to inform go-forward strategies, and present insights that influence cross-functional decision-making.

Key responsibilities include supporting cross-functional collaboration to align analytics with business goals, shaping the analytics roadmap with a data-driven strategic lens, mentoring junior analysts and fostering a high-performing, learning-oriented team culture, leading recurring performance reporting, ensuring clarity, consistency, and actionability, upholding data integrity, governance standards, and driving automation for scalable processes.

Requirements
  • 7-10 years relevant experience in an analytical role within a digital business, ideally media related.
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Marketing, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or Social Science; a graduate degree is preferred.
  • Familiarity with lifecycle & retention analytics, including user segmentation, churn modeling, and engagement strategies, is a strong plus.
  • Expertise in SQL with demonstrated hands-on experience.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) with a strong track record of translating data into clear, actionable insights for business stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of subscription services and the competitive landscape.
