Key Role: Raw Material Team Manager

We are seeking a seasoned professional to oversee the receipt and storage of raw materials in our warehouse. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with exceptional leadership skills and a proven track record in managing inventory flows.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all raw materials are properly received, stored, and available for production as needed. They will also investigate any waste or inefficiencies and communicate these findings to the broader production team.

This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders, including inventory and flow controllers.

To be successful in this position, you should have a solid understanding of warehouse management systems and a keen eye for detail. You should also be able to work independently and as part of a team.

About Your New Role

In this key position, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse. You will be responsible for managing the electronic warehouse management system, investigating any issues related to wastage, and maintaining accurate records.

You will also be working closely with our inventory and flow controllers to ensure that all raw materials are properly stored and available for production as needed.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving and is passionate about delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining the electronic warehouse management system, including data entry and reporting
  • Investigating any issues related to wastage and communicating findings to the broader production team
  • Working closely with inventory and flow controllers to ensure proper storage and availability of raw materials
  • Managing returns and cycle counts
  • Forklift operations and maintenance
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably with a background in inventory management
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Forklift license preferred but not essential
