We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Specialist to join our team at Tyrecycle, Australia's leading tyre recycler. This is a key role in our operations, requiring strong attention to detail, ability to work effectively in a team and a personal drive for results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sort tyres/recyclable materials according to prescribed criteria
  • Operate forklift/bobcat/excavator to move materials for processing, sorting, storing and transporting
  • Operate recycling processing equipment including crushers, shredders, granulators and sorters to meet or exceed market requirements
  • Unload materials from trucks
  • Remove contamination from recyclable material
  • Load materials into containers
  • Maintain production standards
  • Monitor equipment operation and report malfunction and other maintenance and repair needs to the Plant Supervisor or Plant Manager
  • Carry out basic maintenance tasks
  • Maintain inventory records
  • Clean plant equipment and work areas
About You:
  • Demonstrated current driver's license
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Personal drive and results-oriented approach
  • Previous experience operating similar equipment with relevant licenses
