We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Inventory Specialist to join our fast-paced distribution centre. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate completion of stock-takes, reconciliation of data, and analysis of stock levels to meet customer orders and reduce write-offs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate stock-takes for all inventory items and reconcile data to ensure accurate stock analysis.
  • Ensure daily review of stocks and stock levels to meet customer orders and reduce write-offs.
  • Liaise with the planning department to ensure stock levels are adequate to cover sales requirements and minimize stock dumps.
  • Manage back on inventory metrics, rotation issues, capacity, and trends with excessive days' cover.
  • Carry out inventory control, stock balances, and reconciliation on finished goods daily via ERP system.
  • Produce reports as requested by the management team.
About You:
  • Tertiary qualifications in supply chain or related fields and/or relevant experience.
  • Sound principles on Inventory Management best practice and knowledge of supply chain in a FMCG environment preferred.
  • Experience working in a food manufacturing environment (preferred).
  • Functional knowledge of ERP is preferred.
