As a seasoned professional, we are seeking an experienced Environmental Consultant to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' experience in consulting, government or industry, with expertise in project management, due diligence, environmental impact assessment and approvals under various Acts.
You will be responsible for providing advice on best practice environmental and management principles to clients and internal teams, as well as developing and implementing business plans and strategies.
Key responsibilities include leading the development of environmental impact assessments, management plans and supporting clients through their compliance and closure journey.
Additionally, you will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects across various sectors, delivering high-quality reports and maintaining excellent relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
Required skills and qualifications:
- Experience in the mining, infrastructure and renewables sectors is essential
- A degree in Environmental Science, Engineering or a related field
- Ability to win work through business development and demonstrated client management expertise
- Demonstrated experience managing multidisciplinary projects
- Demonstrated experience delivering WA and Commonwealth approvals, including an excellent and contemporary knowledge of environmental legislation and policies, standards and guidelines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Full working rights in Australia
- A valid WA Driver's Licence
