Environmental Tailings Specialist Job Opportunity

This is a unique chance to work with us as an Environmental Tailings Specialist. In this role, you will contribute to the design and assessment of tailings storage facilities (TSFs) and associated infrastructure. You will be involved across the project lifecycle, from concept and feasibility through to detailed design, construction support, and closure planning.

As an Environmental Tailings Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and assessing TSFs and other mine waste facilities
  • Supporting geotechnical and civil analysis, modelling, and reporting
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on site investigations, inspections, and construction support
  • Preparing high-quality technical deliverables, including drawings, calculations, and reports
  • Developing client relationships and building your consulting skillset

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A degree in civil, geotechnical, or mining engineering (or similar)
  • 3–6 years' relevant experience in tailings, geotechnical, or mine infrastructure design
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
  • Prior consulting experience (preferred but not essential)
  • Willingness to travel to site as needed
