About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Business Partner to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in providing strategic financial guidance and delivering insights that help leadership teams make informed decisions.

  • You will be responsible for owning the profit and loss (P&L) for your portfolio, identifying key risks and opportunities, and partnering closely with business stakeholders to foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • You will lead budgeting, forecasting, and monthly performance reviews to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Additionally, you will build and assess business cases that drive efficiency and value, and deliver clear, actionable performance reporting for senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop effective partnerships between support and business functions to drive business growth and success.
  • Provide strategic financial guidance and advice to leadership teams to inform decision-making.
  • Owning the P&L for your portfolio, identifying key risks and opportunities, and partnering closely with business stakeholders.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and monthly performance reviews to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Build and assess business cases that drive efficiency and value.
  • Deliver clear, actionable performance reporting for senior stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Several years of practical experience with at least 5 years' relevant business partnering experience.
  • Proven ability to develop effective partnerships between support and business functions.
  • Extensive experience in management accounting, performance management, and reporting, business planning and budgeting.
  • Experience in financial evaluation of projects and initiatives, and the preparation of formal business cases.
  • Experience using large ERP systems and BI tools.
  • Advanced Excel and extensive financial modelling experience with large and multiple data sources.
  • CPA or CA certification.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance related discipline.
  • Strong FMCG, Retail, or Pharmaceutical experience an advantage.
