Job Title:

Financial Strategist and Portfolio Analyst

This is a senior-level role within the organisation, responsible for delivering in-depth analysis of Build-To-Rent (BTR) portfolios to inform future strategy and capital management decisions.

The successful candidate will be required to produce detailed financial models with assessments of impact on asset and venture returns, considering recommended pathways.

  • Develop and maintain accurate financial models to support investment decisions.
  • Ensure data integrity across various systems, including venture scenario modelling, capital management, portfolio budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Prepare and manage BTR fund metrics based on inputs from asset and portfolio managers.
  • Analyse overall portfolio performance against key return and hurdle KPIs.
  • Support the venture with capital raising activities, including modelling new equity and growth scenarios.
  • Deliver timely and accurate fund financial information for ongoing monthly and quarterly reporting.
  • Collaborate with finance and treasury business partners during quarterly reforecasting processes.
  • Oversee budget process to ensure Fund requirements are captured and communicated to relevant teams.
  • Analyse broker, investor, and retailer queries as required, and analyse Mirvac Build to Rent performance relative to peers.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of capital markets and macroeconomic conditions, analysing relevant economic and real estate data to support investment submissions.

Requirements:

  • A degree in finance or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role with financial modelling responsibilities.
  • Good communication skills, enabling effective interaction with stakeholders, including external investors and senior executives.
  • Discretion, diplomacy, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • A team player with strong organisational skills, excellent planning, and prioritisation abilities.
