Job Overview:

We are seeking a proactive individual to join our team in Woolworths Bendigo. As a Team Member, you will be responsible for completing specific tasks on a schedule and supporting the store with routine operations.

You will work alongside your team while bringing value to everyone, every day. Your duties will include:

  • Completing tasks allocated to you in the daily planner such as sweeping the shop floor, cleaning walls, bathrooms, trolley bays and team room
  • Collecting trolleys from the car park and surrounding areas
  • Working across departments to deliver specific needs
  • Assisting customers in store by answering questions or providing directions

Physical fitness is essential for this role, as it involves physically demanding tasks. The ability to comfortably handle the physical requirements of the role is crucial to ensure success and maintain a safe working environment.

The successful candidate will possess an ambitious mindset, a love of retail, and a passion to grow their career in various spaces and beyond. They will also have a keen eye for cleanliness and attention to detail.

Key Requirements:

  • Physical fitness and ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to lift loads between 5-10kgs
  • Flexibility to work in different environments such as the shop floor, fridges, freezers, and carparks
  • Availability to work across Monday-Sunday and shifts starting from 6am or 5pm
