The Role

This role requires strategic planning and leadership to ensure successful deployment of personnel, equipment, and stakeholder engagement in our Oakey station.

Duties Include
  • Maintaining operational preparedness and responding effectively to emergency scenarios
  • Resource allocation, including personnel, fleet, equipment, and training, to meet contract and financial objectives
  • Leading employee engagement and driving service excellence through positive relationships and outcomes
  • Building partnerships with Defence Service Personnel, SEG Leadership, Base Community, and Industry partners
  • Driving safety, environment, and health outcomes through proactive management and compliance
  • Contributing to the development of a world-class emergency response service through collaborative efforts
About You
  • Desirable experience in emergency management in high-risk operating environments
  • Graduate or Post Graduate qualification in Business Management or related field
  • Background in complex service delivery across dispersed operations with large workforces
  • Able to work autonomously and manage competing priorities based on risk and effectiveness
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills
  • Experience in leading people programs, including recruitment, training, and leadership development
  • Commercially astute and strategic with workforce planning, financial reporting, SHEQ, compliance, and governance expertise
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance as an Australian Citizen
