Fire Service Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Fire Service Manager to oversee our firefighting, rescue, and emergency response operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the deployment of personnel, equipment, and planning, as well as engaging with stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.

About the Role
  • This is an exceptional opportunity to lead a high-performing team and contribute to the delivery of our emergency response services.
  • You will work closely with Defence Service Personnel, SEG Leadership, and Base Community to build relationships and drive service excellence.
  • Your expertise in emergency management, business management, complex service delivery, and people leadership will be invaluable in this role.
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain high operational preparedness for immediate response to contracted emergency scenarios.
  • Accountable for resource allocation to meet contract and financial objectives.
  • Foster an inclusive working environment and drive service excellence.
  • Build relationships with Defence Service Personnel, SEG Leadership, and Base Community.
  • Lead safety and health initiatives by role modelling LEAD behaviours and leading a culture of compliance.
  • Contribute to redefining service excellence in emergency response.
Requirements
  • Desirable qualifications: experience in emergency management, business management, complex service delivery, and people leadership.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Customer-centric with commercial acumen and strategic thinking.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance.
