Fire Capability Management Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Fire Capability Manager to lead our operations in a high-risk environment. The successful candidate will oversee the deployment of personnel, equipment and planning to ensure successful emergency response scenarios.

  • Provide strategic leadership to ensure optimal service delivery through resource allocation and stakeholder engagement.
  • Drive safety, compliance and people leadership to maintain a high standard of operational preparedness.
  • Foster an inclusive working environment by leading employee engagement and driving service excellence.
  • Build relationships with Defence Service Personnel, SEG Leadership and Base Community to raise the profile of our fire and rescue services.
  • Contribute to redefining service excellence by developing a world-class emergency response service.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Experience in emergency management in a dynamic, high-risk operating environment.
  • A Graduate or Post Graduate qualification in Business Management.
  • Background in complex service delivery across a geographically dispersed and/or multi-agency operation with a large workforce.
  • Excellent communication, influencing and relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated experience with leading people programs including recruitment, training and leadership development, workforce planning, mentoring and change management.
  • Customer Centric approach, with a focus on delivering exceptional service to Defence clients.
