Job Overview

The Financial Services Risk Manager role involves leading digital risk assessments, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with clients across various sectors including insurance superannuation and banking.
  • Utilise cutting-edge tools and artificial intelligence to assess and improve operational processes controls activities policies and systems.
  • Collaborate with a global network to discover and implement solutions that address client challenges and facilitate transformation.
  • Support the development of audit projects to ensure they meet agreed standards and timelines.
  • Research and analyse client needs to identify potential issues within the regulatory framework.
  • Work with large datasets to uncover insights drawing on experience in risk analytics and reporting.
  • Collaborate with the team on business development initiatives aimed at transforming risk functions.
Required Skills And Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in risk assessment preferably within financial services or consulting.
  • Proven track record of maintaining long-term client relationships and networks as well as identifying business development opportunities.
  • Experience with Australian and/or international prudential supervision regulatory reporting RegTech capital management enterprise risk and risk data management is essential.
  • Good knowledge of third-party lifecycle management including due diligence risk assessments monitoring and offboarding.
