Job Title:

Digital Risk and Compliance Leader

About the Role:

The Digital Risk and Compliance Manager plays a pivotal part in steering the company's digital function to optimize performance, manage risk, and ensure adherence to governance and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Champion a collaborative risk and compliance culture across Technology Digital through effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Develop and implement an effective Technology Digital Risk Management Framework that aligns with enterprise risk management principles.
  • Establish a risk and issue management process and technology solution to identify, assess, and manage risks across the value chain.
  • Provide guidance to stakeholders on Technology Digital risks and issues, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and alignment.
  • Monitor and review Technology Digital risks and controls, contributing to the risk and control self-assessment process.
  • Develop regular reports highlighting key trends, insights, and recommendations, defining key risk indicators and metrics.
  • Partner with senior leaders, third-party providers, and business units to support and promote an effective Three Lines of Defence model.

Candidates must have demonstrated capability or knowledge in risk and compliance, audit and assurance, digital technology operations, and legal/regulatory requirements. They will possess strong communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively in a high-change environment.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, business, or related discipline.
  • Proven experience in risk and compliance or equivalent role (audit and assurance) in large complex organizations.
  • Strong understanding of risk management, compliance management, control assurance, and digital technology operations.
  • Exceptional ability to listen, synthesize complex information, and respond accurately.
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-change environment, drive structure where it does not yet exist, and be adaptable in approach.
