Job Description

This is a rewarding role for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional support to clients.

As a Support Worker, you will be working closely with our clients to understand their needs and preferences, and develop personalized care plans to ensure their safety, well-being, and independence.

Some of your key responsibilities will include assisting with personal care, meal preparation, medication administration, and household tasks.

Additionally, you will be required to work collaboratively with other staff members, case managers, and family/carers to achieve the client's individual goals.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the principles of person-centered care and be able to communicate effectively with clients, families, and colleagues.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A current NDIS Worker Screening Check, WWC Check, First Aid & CPR, and ABN.
  • Cert 3 in Aged Care or Individual Support.
  • A driver's license with a fully insured motor vehicle.
  • Professional Indemnity Insurance and Public Liability Insurance.
  • 100 points ID.
  • NDIS Worker Orientation/induction Module.
  • Must be fully vaccinated.
Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary of $29.00 - $31.50 per hour and part-time hours of 25 per week.

The successful candidate will also receive comprehensive training and ongoing support to ensure they excel in this role.

Shift times, days, and location will vary depending on the requirements of the service.

Fluency in English is essential, as is the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
