About the Role

Carepro Disability Services is a rapidly growing registered NDIS Service Provider with offices based in Perth and Melbourne. This is an opportunity to support NDIS participants to lead meaningful and fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibility will be to support our participants to have the choice, control, and independence to live their best life. The roles will comprise active nights, non-active sleepovers and a variety of day and afternoon shifts.

Desirable Skills and Qualifications
  • Personal care and full hoist experience
  • Complex bowel care and catheter care experience
  • Epilepsy / seizure management experience
  • Diabetes / subcutaneous injections knowledge
  • Experience working with behaviours of concern and mental health
  • Availability to work non-active sleepovers, active nights and weekends
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written) is necessary to perform the duties of this position
  • Experience working with spinal injuries / quadriplegics highly desirable
  • Experience with PEG feeding and autism
  • Experience working with complex care NDIS Participants
Mandatory Requirements
  • Car and valid Australian driver's license
  • Vehicle insurance policy and proof of car registration
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written)
  • Proof of right to work within Australia
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Completed NDIS Orientation Module
  • Current FA & CPR Certificates
  • Cert IV Disability or other relevant qualifications
  • Must have at least 1 year previous experience
  • Ability to start immediately
