Financial Analyst Role

We are seeking a highly skilled financial analyst to support our operations and merchandise teams.

  • The primary objective of this role is to provide insightful, fact-based financial analysis and commercial decision-making support to help manage and minimise total loss across our business.

This includes:

  • Monitoring store performance against targets and identifying & managing risks and opportunities
  • Managing the annual store budget and monthly forecasting process
  • Preparing period-end reporting, explaining variances to budget/forecasts and identifying key trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Providing timely, insightful, fact-based financial performance reviews to stakeholders
  • Supporting business planning/forecasting models and reporting tools
  • Supporting stakeholders with fact-based financial analysis, articulating the impact of commercial decisions
  • Automating, simplifying, and improving business operational reporting tools

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A strong financial business partnering background, preferably within the retail/FMCG remit
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to educate financial and non-financial stakeholders
  • Proven ability to challenge and influence key stakeholders, working cross-functionally to deliver results
  • CA/CPA or similar qualification, with commercial awareness and business focus
  • Experience in developing business cases to support large-scale financial investment
  • Excellent data manipulation and analytical skills
