About the Role

Talent is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Specialist to join our team in support of various Cloud projects. As an Information Security Assessor, you will play a critical role in accrediting our systems and data by independently assessing our security posture, identifying security risks, and suggesting mitigation measures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct security threat and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and develop security accreditation artefacts.
  • Perform Information Security Registered Assessor Program (IRAP) assessments of proposed ICT designs and solutions for our Digital Identity system.
  • Manage and communicate security concepts to non-technical stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
  • Develop and enforce security policies and procedures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and data.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve work area goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years' experience in ICT system accreditation.
  • Strong leadership experience and skills, with the ability to manage complex relationships with stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to communicate security concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated security experience within complex ICT environments.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF), the Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM), and other Australian Government security guidance and advice.
