About Our Client
Talent is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Assessor to join our team. Our client is a leading organization in the Defence portfolio, responsible for defending Australia against global threats and advancing national interests through foreign signals intelligence, cyber security, and offensive cyber operations.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will assist in accrediting our systems and data by independently assessing our security posture, identifying security risks, and suggesting mitigation measures. This role requires strong leadership experience, excellent organizational and communication skills, and a demonstrated understanding of the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF), the Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM), and other Australian Government security guidance and advice.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct security threat and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and develop security accreditation artefacts.
- Perform Information Security Registered Assessor Program (IRAP) assessments of proposed ICT designs and solutions for Participants of the Digital Identity system.
- Manage and communicate security concepts to non-technical stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
- Develop and enforce security policies and procedures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and data.
Requirements
- At least 5 years' experience in ICT system accreditation.
- Strong leadership experience and skills, with the ability to manage complex relationships with stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to communicate security concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated security experience within complex ICT environments.
- Demonstrated understanding of the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF), the Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM), and other Australian Government security guidance and advice.
