The Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water is seeking a highly skilled Project Governance and Control Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Assets and Technology Branch, you will play a critical role in the planning, development, and administration of major Antarctic and Sub-Antarctic infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities- Project Governance: Provide advice on project governance models, including Design & Construction, Alliances, Public, Private Partnership or similar.
- Project Control: Develop and implement project control processes, risk and issue mitigation and management.
- Reporting and Communication: Undertake project governance and reporting activities, including Steering Group requirements, Gateway review planning, contract management and risk, and issues and benefits management.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders, including external consultants, on project impacts and requirements.
- Project Planning and Documentation: Be responsible for effective project planning and documentation requirements, including project plans.
- Qualifications: A relevant tertiary qualification from an Australian tertiary institution, or a comparable overseas institution, or demonstrated equivalent experience.
- Citizenship: To be eligible for employment with the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water, you must be an Australian citizen.
- Security Clearance: This position requires a Baseline Vetting security clearance.
