About the Role
Talent is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Specialist to join our team. As a Cyber Security Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and data.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct security threat and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies.
- Perform Information Security Registered Assessor Program (IRAP) assessments of proposed ICT designs and solutions to ensure compliance with security standards.
- Develop and maintain complex relationships with stakeholders to achieve security goals and objectives.
- Communicate security concepts and policies to non-technical audiences through verbal and written communication.
- Develop and enforce security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in ICT system accreditation.
- Strong leadership experience and skills, with the ability to manage complex relationships with stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to communicate security concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated security experience within complex ICT environments.
- Demonstrated understanding of the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF), the Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM), and other Australian Government security guidance and advice.
