">Renewable Energy Specialist

This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to the development of sustainable energy solutions. As a renewable energy specialist, you will play a key role in delivering technical and strategic advice on climate change, energy, environment, economics, and human rights.

Your primary responsibilities will include assisting in the delivery of renewable energy feasibility studies, developing intelligent energy strategies, and implementing energy management systems. You will also be involved in undertaking environmental audits and providing recommendations for improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct data analysis and applied quantitative work using Microsoft Excel
  • Assist in the development of renewable energy strategies and energy management systems
  • Undertake environmental audits and provide recommendations for improvements
  • Help organisations develop intelligent energy strategies

Requirements:

  • Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, science, or similar field
  • Previous professional experience in renewable energy, energy efficiency, and/or carbon management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Positive can-do attitude with ability to take initiative

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of relevant standards such as ISO 50001 and NABERS
  • Experience with Python, R, and other programming languages
  • Understanding of energy storage systems and data analytics
