Electrify your future.About the roleAGL's Hunter Transition team have an opportunity for an Environment Advisor to assist with the delivery of the Liddell Power Station demolition, rehabilitation and remediation.
This on-site role will support the Senior Environment Advisor and Environment & Approvals Manager in managing compliance with relevant project approvals and licenses, with a secure pipeline in the region of future transition projects.
The Hunter Transition team play a critical part in the safe transition of assets into industrial energy hubs including renewable energy solutions.
This is a truly diverse and hands on role that puts you at the front of Australia's energy transition.
What you'll be doing: Assisting in developing the AGL Macquarie rehabilitation and remediation strategy.
Supporting project compliance against relevant approvals, licencing and permitting.
Providing support across the Liddell Transition Team around environmental management practice.
Coordinating, scheduling and delivering monitoring required for compliance, due diligence and planning approvals.
What you'll bring: Bachelor's degree in environmental science, environmental engineering or equivalent.
Practical understanding of NSW planning and regulatory framework for State Significant Developments.
Demonstrated experience in operational compliance on large-scale projects.
Collaborative and solutions-focused to multidisciplinary and complex environmental projects.
