Energy Sustainability Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to support our transition to net-zero emissions. This role will provide technical expertise on sustainable infrastructure, capital works, and asset management projects.
- Provide expert advice on sustainable infrastructure and capital works projects
- Support the collection, monitoring, and reporting of energy use and carbon emissions data
- Ensure Council's asset management system includes all sites utilising gas and electricity
This is a key position that will work closely with Council teams to adopt a 'climate lens' and minimise greenhouse gas emissions.
The ideal candidate will have significant knowledge in energy, greenhouse, and environmental management within a complex organisation, as well as experience in using and managing utility/data management software platforms and data analysis tools.
