The Role
This exciting opportunity is for a Senior Data Engineer to join our analytics team, where you will play a key role in transforming our data landscape and driving business outcomes. As a trusted partner and leader, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying complex data pipelines and architectures.
Your Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end data-driven capabilities that drive business growth.
- Design and implement efficient data flows across the organization, ensuring seamless data connectivity and scalability.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their data requirements and develop tailored solutions.
- Maintain high-quality code and documentation, adhering to our architectural principles and best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and methodologies, applying your expertise to drive innovation and improvement.
- Participate in knowledge-sharing and mentoring initiatives to foster a culture of collaboration and excellence.
What We Offer
As a Senior Data Engineer at Ubank, you can expect:
$140,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.

Essential Requirements
- At least 5 years of practical experience in data engineering, with a strong background in data modeling, warehousing, and pipeline development.
- Hands-on experience with data preparation, transformation, and modeling techniques, including SQL, Python, Java, Spark, and PySpark.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience working with technical and business stakeholders to develop data outcomes.
- Familiarity with cloud-based environments, data lakes, and modern lakehouses, with experience working with AWS, Airflow, Fivetran, or equivalent technologies.
Desirable Qualifications
- Previous experience working with the Databricks platform.
- Experience in the Growth and Marketing space, with knowledge of marketing technologies (Martech).
- Exposure to Data Vault modeling methodology and its implementation in a business setting.
