
Spinal Cord Injury Support Specialist

About this role
This is a rewarding career opportunity for a caring and reliable support worker to make a positive difference in the lives of clients with Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) and Acquired Brain Injury (ABI). You will work independently with clients and their families as well as in a team environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide high level 1:1 attendant care support for SCI & ABI injured clients.
- Take direction from clients and work collaboratively to achieve goals.
- Develop strong relationships with clients and families through effective communication and listening skills.
- Pursue ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Previous experience providing high level 1:1 attendant care support for SCI & ABI injured clients.
- A valid NDIS Worker Screening Check, First Aid & CPR certificates.
- A current driver's license and own vehicle are preferred.
- A relevant Disability qualification or equivalent is preferred but not essential.
