Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Lifestyle Care Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating engaging experiences for our residents, fostering a sense of community and connection.

As a key member of our care team, you will work closely with colleagues to plan and deliver activities that cater to the diverse interests and needs of our residents. Your passion for enriching lives and your creativity in designing meaningful experiences will make a significant impact on the lives of our residents.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and delivering activities that promote social interaction, emotional well-being, and cognitive stimulation
  • Working collaboratively with the care team to develop individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident
  • Providing emotional support and companionship to residents with dementia or other cognitive impairments
  • Assisting with daily living tasks such as mealtimes and outings
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A Certificate III in Leisure and Lifestyle or Individual Support (or willingness to complete)
  • Previous experience in caring for older adults within an Aged Care or community setting
  • First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • An Australian driver's licence
