Role Overview:

You'll lead a team to develop and implement social activities programs tailored to residents' interests and needs. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating engaging experiences that bring joy and enrichment to our residents' lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop lifestyle programs reflecting individual and collective resident interests
  • Prepare comprehensive lifestyle assessments for each resident
  • Manage and coach the lifestyle team to deliver meaningful activities
  • Lead bus excursions for residents and manage community partnerships
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making adjustments as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of participation and foster positive relationships with residents, staff, and volunteers

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated understanding of Leisure and Lifestyle programming
  • Experience in delivering person-centred care in line with Aged Care Standards
  • Previous experience in aged care, particularly dementia care
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team approach
  • A friendly and joyful disposition, with a willingness to learn and improve
  • Minimum Certificate-III in Leisure and Lifestyle, with NDIS clearance and up-to-date vaccinations
