About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Payroll Officer to join our team at Arete Executive. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for managing the efficient and accurate processing of weekly and fortnightly payrolls for approximately 80 staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process payrolls in accordance with relevant legislation and company policies.
  • Ensure accurate and timely payment of wages and superannuation.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize payroll processes.
  • Support the HR Manager in payroll-related matters.
About You

We are looking for a motivated and experienced individual with a strong background in payroll management. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Certificate IV in Business Administration or similar.
  • High-level computer skills, including proficiency in the Microsoft suite and internal databases.
  • Experience in Greentree and/or MYOB is desirable.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Proven attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
