Warehouse Management Professional

Are you looking for a role that will truly contribute to your development? If so, we have the opportunity for you. As a Warehouse Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of warehouse operatives and ensuring they are trained in their respective tasks.

You will adhere to quality, health, safety, and environmental (QHSE) rules and procedures while meeting or exceeding operational requirements within the contract. This is a full-time, permanent position working on our 3 on 3 off shift pattern, with a salary of £31,969.56 per annum.

As a Warehouse Team Leader, your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing, leading, and motivating your people to achieve challenging operational key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Leading the team on health & safety, demonstrating good working practices, and being responsible for keeping all operational processes fully compliant while keeping your people safe
  • Actively managing your available resource and utilizing staff where possible
  • Maintaining a constant presence within the warehouse, delivering shift briefs, and preparing handovers

To succeed at this role, you will need:

  • Experience in leading a team within a fast-paced operation of FMCG, automation, and multi-channel environments
  • Experience of working to agreed targets and managing a small team
  • Well-versed in warehouse management systems
  • Good working knowledge of current health & safety and compliance legislation
