
Sales Leadership Manager

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Drive sales performance and lead by example to motivate the team.
- Develop a culture of excellence where highly motivated individuals can consistently meet targets.
- Solicit feedback, provide training, and reviews to continually improve retail sales advisor and assistant store manager performance.
- Recruit skilled retail sales advisors who embody industry leading standards.
- Maintain showroom compliance in areas of health and safety, finance, sales, FCA regulations, GDPR, and stock control.
- Create an engaging trading environment that displays promotional activity and invites guests.
- Work collaboratively with the team to share product knowledge and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Promote seamless omnichannel customer journeys by leveraging digital resources and marketing tools.
- Oversee daily operations for smooth functioning of the showroom.
- Coordinate visual merchandising efforts to ensure up-to-date and visually appealing displays.
- Foster a positive team environment through open communication and teamwork.
- Conduct regular team meetings to discuss performance, new products, and company policies.
- Provide ongoing development opportunities to enhance colleague skills and knowledge.
- Analyse sales data and market trends to develop strategies for increased sales and profitability.
This role demands a proven track record of driving successful businesses within consultative selling environments.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven leadership abilities to guide and develop competitive sales teams.
- Effective communicator able to lead by example and convey confidence and clarity through shop floor management.
- Able to inspire colleagues to work towards goals and targets.
- Experience managing large turnover retail stores from a furniture retailer or heavily incentivised big-ticket sales environment.
- Proven track record of delivering successful businesses within consultative selling environments.
- Ability to lead sales teams in selling and promoting products and services in an informative, engaging, and professional manner.
- Understanding of regulatory frameworks associated with this sector and role, with relevant experience enabling the delivery of set policies and procedures.
Working Hours:
This is a full-time role requiring 40 hours of work per week, spread over five days out of seven, including Saturday and Sunday, with one weekend off every six days.
