
Administrative Officer

This role is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the department's administrative functions, providing secretariat support and maintaining records.
The successful candidate will have strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual with excellent communication skills who can perform a range of administrative tasks, including:
- Providing secretariat support for senior officers, arranging appointments, meetings, and travel.
- Maintaining records and coordinating correspondence, developing and enhancing administrative systems and processes.
- Preparing documentation and reports to maximize effective service delivery.

Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Contribute to business unit action planning and capability development opportunities.
- Arrange appointments, meetings, and travel for senior officers, maintain diaries, and provide confidential secretariat support.
- Maintain the region's record management system, coordinate correspondence, and ensure timely actioning.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance administrative systems and processes, prepare documentation, and reports to maximize effective service delivery.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong understanding of administrative principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other software applications.
