Job Description

This senior WHS professional will lead the provision of strategic and technical safety advice to clients.

The role requires extensive knowledge of Safety Management Systems, including the ability to undertake various WHS-related investigations, assessments, audits, data analysis, reporting and end-to-end project management.

The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years' experience as a WHS Consultant or similar industry WHS experience, with a Diploma of Occupational Health and Safety or higher.

A broad knowledge of relevant legislation relating to WHS (Acts and regulations, Codes of Practices) is essential, as well as in-depth knowledge and practical experience working with ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 standards.

Strong understanding and capability in hazard identification, risk assessment and controls is also required, with auditing qualifications being highly desirable.

Incident/non-conformance investigation experience and the ability to lead HSE initiatives are key requirements, working closely with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain robust safety practices.

High level of Microsoft Office suite skills and advanced written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail are necessary.

Ability to travel interstate or to a site at short notice is a requirement.
