Are you a hands-on safety leader who thrives in fast-paced environments?
Here's your chance to take ownership of safety in a critical manufacturing setting and drive meaningful change every day.
Why You'll Love This Role:
Our client doesn't just talk about safety – they live it. As the Safety Lead, you'll be more than just a compliance gatekeeper. You'll be a key driver of the OHS strategy, turning policies into real, practical initiatives that protect people and strengthen the culture.
This is a role where your expertise will be valued, your ideas will be heard and your impact will be visible across the site. You'll join a collaborative team that backs each other, celebrates wins and knows how to balance hard work with a bit of fun.
What You'll Do:
- Lead the delivery of the OHS Plan and embed a proactive safety culture.
- Drive initiatives that reduce risk and improve critical safety outcomes.
- Guide risk assessments, incident investigations and internal audits.
- Champion safety leadership programs to make safety everyone's business.
- Use data and insights to track performance and influence decision-making.
- Coach and inspire teams to own safety on the ground.
What You'll Bring:
- 5+ years' OHS management experience in manufacturing or logistics.
- In-depth knowledge of Victorian OHS legislation and ISO 45001.
- Strong skills in audits, compliance, and safety systems.
- Data-driven mindset with Excel expertise to spot trends and reduce risk.
- The ability to engage, coach, and influence at all levels.
- A Diploma in OHS (or equivalent experience).
Bonus points if you hold an OHS Auditor Certification or a Cert IV in Training & Assessment.
Why Join? Safety isn't just a box to tick – it's a commitment to our clients' people. You'll have the freedom to shape the role, backed by leaders who want you to succeed. Here, your work will directly create safer, healthier workplaces and you'll be part of a team that genuinely cares.
