Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to manage and optimize our virtual infrastructure. This role supports critical business operations by designing, implementing, and managing VMware vSphere environments.

  • Key Responsibilities:

    • Design and implement VMware vSphere environments, including ESXi hosts, vCenter, and virtual machines.
    • Configure and maintain VMware High Availability (HA), DRS clusters, and resource pools.
    • Conduct performance tuning, system optimization, and capacity planning.
    • Manage VM lifecycle tasks, including provisioning, snapshots, templates, and cloning.
    • Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure using vRealize, SolarWinds, or similar tools.
    • Integrate VMware platforms with SAN/NAS storage and virtual network configurations.
    • Develop and maintain disaster recovery and backup strategies using native and third-party tools.
    • Maintain thorough documentation of systems, processes, and change management records.
    • Provide expert support and consultation to internal IT stakeholders.
Requirements and Qualifications

  • Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Experience:

    • Minimum 3 years' hands-on experience managing VMware infrastructure.

  • Skills:

    • Proficient in VMware vSphere 6.x/7.x/8.x, vSAN, and VMware Cloud solutions.
    • Strong background in Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, and core networking (DNS/DHCP).
    • Scripting experience in PowerShell or Python for automation tasks.
    • Ability to troubleshoot complex issues across virtual, storage, and network layers.

  • Certifications:

    • VMware Certified Professional (VCP-DCV) or higher.
    • ITIL Foundation or Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCSE).
