We're seeking an experienced Cybersecurity IVVQ Tester to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for verifying the effectiveness of security controls and providing objective evidence to support accreditation.

You'll work closely with our CMATS verification team to develop and execute test procedures, manage test results, and plan testing activities. Your attention to detail and strong technical skills will ensure that our security features are properly implemented and verified.

To succeed in this role, you'll need a solid understanding of security architectures, technologies, design, and development. You should also have experience with Linux and Windows-based systems, as well as formal systems engineering requirements. Additionally, you'll need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with our teams.

About This Role
  • Cybersecurity IVVQ Tester

This is a customer-facing role that requires regular attendance at our Melbourne office and the customer test facility at Melbourne Airport. You'll have the opportunity to work on complex projects and contribute to the delivery of dynamic Air Traffic Services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing and Executing Test Procedures: Develop, write, update, execute, and automate test procedures to assess the effectiveness of security controls.
  • Managing Test Results and Defects: Record test results by generating test reports and build KPI metrics for cybersecurity requirements status.
  • Planning and Coordination of Testing Activities: Schedule and plan cybersecurity testing activities, considering platform needs, capabilities, and current level of security control implementation.
  • Supporting Other Teams: Support Integration and other Sub-System teams in understanding Security Features and advising on best methods for implementing and verifying them.
  • On-Site Verification and Accreditation Preparation: Perform verification activities on Operational sites across Australia to ensure Security Requirements are properly implemented.
Requirements
  • Australian Citizenship for Defence Clearance
  • Knowledge of Security Architectures, Technologies, Design and Development
  • In-Depth Technical Experience with Security-Based Aspects and Secure Implementation of Linux and Windows Based Systems
  • Knowledge of Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM)
  • Experience Working with Formal Systems Engineering Requirements
  • Experience with Authoring/Reviewing Technical Documentation
  • Experience with Engineering Tools (DOORS / VIVALDI)
  • Software Development Environment Technologies
  • Test Automation Tools such as Eggplant and Chef InSpec
