We are seeking a skilled Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team at the Women's and Children's Health Network, providing high-quality mental health services to children and adolescents.
About the RoleThis exciting opportunity will see you working in a multidisciplinary team environment, delivering expert care to individuals or groups experiencing complex social, emotional, and behavioral difficulties.
- Salary: $104,180 - $111,746 per annum, plus benefits
- Location: Various locations across South Australia
- Job Type: Part-time (0.5 FTE) - Ongoing Permanent
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing clinical expertise in mental health care for children, adolescents, and their families, aligned with national policy and standards.
- Delivering direct expert care to clients with complex needs, including individual and group therapy sessions.
- Leading and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance service delivery and meet client needs.
- Developing and implementing advanced clinical services for the Child and Adolescent Mental Health population.
- Collaborating with allied health staff, nursing staff, medical staff, and other stakeholders to achieve best practice outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- An appropriate degree or equivalent qualification as an Occupational Therapist, registered with Occupational Therapy Australia.
- Extensive clinical experience in mental health occupational therapy services, particularly in Child and Adolescent Mental Health.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse professionals and stakeholders.
- Leadership and mentoring capabilities, with the ability to supervise and support other professionals and students.
