We are on the lookout for a dedicated and customer-oriented individual to step into the role of Duty Manager at our vibrant club.

As a key player in our operational management, you will oversee the daily functions of the club, ensuring that our members and guests receive top-notch service. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be an active leader, guiding and supporting your team to provide efficient, friendly, and responsible service while upholding a clean and safe environment.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the club
  • Conduct daily cash reconciliation and prepare management reports
  • Ensure the comfort and satisfaction of our members and guests
  • Comply with all club policies, procedures, and legal requirements
  • Manage staff during shifts, monitoring productivity and performance
  • Foster collaboration and success across various departments
  • Handle conflict resolution and customer inquiries effectively
  • Maintain awareness of Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) principles

To Excel in This Role, You Will Need:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a supervisory or management capacity within the hospitality sector
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Outstanding customer service and shift management skills
  • Familiarity with the Registered Clubs Act and Liquor Act regulations
  • Capability to navigate complex situations and make sound business decisions
  • Intermediate proficiency in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office
  • Ability to inspire and train team members
  • A high standard of personal presentation
  • Current RSA/RCG and First Aid certifications

This position requires a proactive problem solver who can maintain composure in high-pressure scenarios and think quickly on their feet. Flexibility and reliability are essential, as the role demands availability around the clock, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
