As Chief Compliance Officer, you will lead the way in maintaining, developing and overseeing compliance practices and procedures to meet financial services, anti-money laundering, conduct expectations and all other regulatory requirements.

  • Liaise with regulatory bodies such as ASIC and AFCA
  • Advise the company's board of directors and senior management on general compliance issues
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of relevant aspects of prevailing business practices and regulations
  • Ensure local operation and administration procedures comply with regulations
  • Train staff on local regulatory requirements
  • Conduct regular monitoring to ensure compliance with in-house rules and regulations
  • Ensure client due diligence compliance procedures are adequate
  • Investigate compliance issues and address them satisfactorily
  • Assess the company's status of compliance and report periodically to senior management and the board of directors
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled professional with a strong working knowledge of Australian financial services regulations and requirements.

  • Bachelor degree in law (preferably)
  • 5 years of practical experience in a similar role
  • Experience working within the Australian CFD and margin FX industry is desirable
  • Experience with working overseas within a global financial institution
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage complex stakeholders
  • Ability to be self-sufficient and work independently
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Full eligibility to work in Australia
About the Role
