As a Guest Service Agent, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring seamless interactions throughout their stay.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a warm demeanor to provide personalized service to our guests.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Welcoming guests with a warm smile and providing them with a memorable experience.
- Acknowledging IHG One Rewards members and returning guests in person or over the phone, making them feel valued and appreciated.
- Taking, managing, and receiving payments for guest bookings with accuracy and efficiency.
- Ensuring a swift and seamless check-in and check-out process, minimizing any potential issues or delays.
- Anticipating guests' needs and offering tailored recommendations to enhance their stay.
- Serving as a trusted contact for guests, addressing any concerns or issues they may have, and providing them with expert advice on local attractions and services.
To excel in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience in a Front Office position or with Opera (PMS) is highly regarded.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to effectively interact with guests, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills, turning challenges into opportunities to deliver exceptional results.
- Fluency in the local language, although not essential, would be beneficial in providing an enhanced level of service to our international guests.
- Literacy and basic computer skills, including proficiency in software applications and hotel management systems.
Our Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for someone who:
- Can work a rotating roster, including shifts on weekends and Public Holidays, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
- Has a full Australian Drivers Licence to provide valet parking services, ensuring the safety and convenience of our guests.
- Has the legal right to work in Australia without any limitation or hour-restriction and holds a current police clearance, verifying their integrity and trustworthiness.
