Skilled Healthcare Professional Wanted

A career opportunity has arisen for a motivated and experienced pathology collector to join our team. This is an exciting role for individuals who are passionate about delivering great customer service and quality healthcare.
This is a varied role that will see you working in different healthcare settings and performing a wide range of pathology collection services. As a key member of the team, you will be collecting blood and coordinating specimen samples from patients, using your empathy and drive to deliver high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Collecting samples (blood and non-blood) with care and attention
- Filling available shifts across a geographical area
- Keeping meticulous records for every patient and sample
- Delivering documentation within strict turnaround times
- Preparing and packaging specimens for transport and testing
- Liaising with customers, clinic staff and couriers
About You:
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge in Phlebotomy/Certificate III in Pathology Collection or a healthcare background
- Availability to cover various shifts and travel to different ACCs and hospital environments
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a high level of empathy
- Organised, with strong time management and attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously, sometimes working independently in a solo clinic
- Hold a valid Driver's license
- Hold a Working with Children's Check or be willing to obtain one
- Australian citizen or permanent resident, New Zealand citizen, or hold a valid visa with permission to work
