Advantage Medical Tooradin seeks an accomplished Advanced Practice Registered Nurse to join our esteemed team in a General Practice setting. This coveted opportunity presents a chance for a highly skilled nurse to provide exceptional patient care, develop their skills, and advance their career.
This challenging role demands the ability to prioritize tasks effectively, manage workloads efficiently, and meet deadlines. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling them to interact with patients from diverse backgrounds and age demographics in a friendly and compassionate manner.
- - Current AHPRA Registration, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements;
- - Background working in a busy General Practice and/or primary health setting, providing valuable experience and expertise;
- - Experience in Chronic Disease Management and Health Assessments (an advantage), enhancing clinical skills and knowledge;
- - The ability to perform all general practice nurse duties, including immunizations, procedure assistance, wound dressing, stock ordering, etc., demonstrating versatility and adaptability;
- - Demonstrated ability to provide quality patient care to people with complex needs or persons that come from a range of backgrounds and age demographics, showcasing empathy and understanding;
- - Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, prioritizing tasks, managing time, and meeting deadlines;
- - Ability to manage within a workplace setting with fluctuating levels of demand, exhibiting flexibility and resilience;
- - Effective interpersonal and communication skills, enabling smooth interactions with patients, colleagues, and management;
- - A team focus and flexible approach to work, promoting collaboration and adaptability;
- - The ability to manage reminder and recall systems effectively, ensuring timely interventions and follow-ups;
- - Experience with Best Practice (an advantage), further enhancing clinical skills and knowledge.
