We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver high-quality nursing care to residents, demonstrating professional and collaborative practice and providing supervision to Endorsed Enrolled nurses and Personal Care Assistants.
This part-time position is ideal for experienced RNs who are passionate about aged care. You will have the opportunity to work with a friendly and supportive team in a dynamic environment.
About the RoleAs a Registered Nurse, your primary responsibility will be to provide personalised care to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychological needs are met. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective care plans that promote resident independence and well-being.
- You will assess residents' health status, identify their care needs, and develop individualised care plans.
- You will provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications, wound care, and other treatments as required.
- You will supervise and mentor Endorsed Enrolled Nurses and Personal Care Assistants to ensure they are equipped to provide high-quality care to residents.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse, with relevant qualification and experience.
- Experience assessing aged care residents and developing care plans.
- An understanding of Commonwealth, State, and Territory legislation and nursing practices.
