Urban Development Strategist

We are seeking an experienced Urban Development Strategist to join our Development team in Sydney.

The Role: Reporting to the Head of Operations, this position evaluates and develops property opportunities from a planning perspective, focusing on urban regeneration.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Providing expert advice on strategies to maintain competitiveness and improve company market positioning
  • Maintaining current knowledge of state and local Government planning practices and trends
  • Assessing new opportunities for large scale, mixed use projects
  • Leading research and analysis, conducting due diligence and determining site viability

About you:

You will be an established planning expert with experience across large scale urban regeneration projects and have:

  • A strong understanding of planning processes for large scale, mixed use projects
  • Extensive experience and knowledge of state and local Government planning practices
  • Direct experience in property investments and acquisitions
  • Experience in managing consultants to achieve successful development outcomes

Salary: Estimated AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum, depending on experience
