About the Role

Community Support Incorporated is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in providing high-quality care to individuals with disabilities and the elderly in their own homes.

As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of in-home support services, including personal care, domestic activities, transportation, and social support. You will work closely with our clients to understand their needs and preferences, and develop personalized care plans to ensure their comfort and well-being.

Some shifts may require assisting clients with complex personal needs, and training will be provided to ensure you have the necessary skills and confidence to perform these tasks.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a passion for helping and supporting others, and a willingness to use your personal smartphone for work purposes. You will also need to have a reliable and safe motor vehicle if you are required to transport clients.

Key Requirements:

  • Passion for helping and supporting others
  • Previous experience in care or support work (desired)
  • Smartphone with compatible functionality
  • Current DHS Child-Related or Disability Clearance and Working with Children Check
  • Current valid Police Check (within the last 6 months)
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Unrestricted Drivers' Licence and roadworthy-ensured vehicle (if transporting clients)
