About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Helping Hand. As a Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality domestic services to our clients, enabling them to live independently in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare home-cooked meals and assist with shopping and transport to appointments
  • Support clients to live in their homes by helping with household chores such as cleaning and laundry
  • Maintain a friendly, professional, and positive manner when representing Helping Hand in the community
  • Deliver social support by engaging meaningfully with clients in each interaction

Requirements

  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or be willing to obtain one)
  • Current driver's license (P2's minimum)
  • A registered, well-maintained, reliable, and insured vehicle
  • Good communication skills, including the ability to speak and write clearly and accurately
  • Ability to operate smartphones and apps (such as Microsoft Outlook)
  • Have a valid NDIS Worker Screening clearance (or be willing to obtain one)
