About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Care Worker to join our team at Helping Hand. As a Residential Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, enabling them to live a life of choice and independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional personal care services to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
  • Support residents to maintain their independence and autonomy, promoting their dignity and well-being.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans, working collaboratively with the care team.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a sense of community and belonging.
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in aged care, preferably in a residential setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Valid NDIS Worker Screening clearance or willingness to obtain.
