Lead Nurse in Cardiac Care

This senior nursing position is ideal for a dynamic and motivated individual who wants to take on a leadership role in a fast-paced Cardiac Services Unit.

About the Role

As Lead Nurse, you will be responsible for overseeing staff and resources within the unit, ensuring excellence in care delivery in line with policies and procedures, best practice, and legislative requirements.

  • Collaborate with the Nurse Unit Manager to manage staff and resources
  • Assume responsibility for unit activities when the Nurse Unit Manager is absent
  • Mentor and lead a team of nurses

This is an excellent opportunity to step up into a management role and build your clinical leadership skills.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong clinical skillset in a hospital setting as a Critical Care Nurse
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • The capacity to lead and inspire a team of clinical professionals
  • Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Post Graduate studies in Critical Care or Coronary Care

Previous experience in a Coronary Care Unit is highly desirable for this role.
